Joe Corre Departs Agent Provocateur
Co-founder of Agent Provocateur, Joe Corre, has decided to move on from the lingerie company he helped establish with his then-wife, Serena Rees, in 1994. Sarah Shotton, who Corre has been overseeing the last few seasons, will assume full creative control for the label, though Corre will continue to hold stock in the company. This transition within the label comes during a progressive time as stocks are up and expansion is in the works. Additionally, son of well-known fashion designer Vivienne Westwood, Corre's farewell will enable him to focus on his own creative pursuits, his music and his menswear line, A Child of Jago.

Agent Provocateur to Launch Couture Line at Fashion Week
Agent Provocateur will host a presentation at Spring Fashion Week in New York where they will be debuting Soiree, the brand's new couture line. Soiree will arrive in select stores in November and will boast "underwear pieces in Swarovski-encrusted French lace and hand-studded Italian leather" retailing for up to $4,900.

Agent Provocateur Expanding After Strong Year
Agent Provocateur is planning on moving into new markets after its sales increased by 30% to £30 million in the year ending March 2009. Chief executive Garry Hogarth told Drapers that the company plans to open seven or eight stores this year in Eastern Europe, Russia, Switzerland, and the Netherlands. This past fall, Agent Provocateur added two new locations to their growing roster of stores in the United States - one on Newbury Street in Boston and the other on East Oak Street in Chicago.

Agent Provocateur Sales Rise 26%
In spite of a faltering economy, Agent Provocateur saw their sales rise 26% to £20.7 million for the year ending March 31. Their EBITDA dipped from £2.7 million to £2.2 million, though this was mostly due to increased investment in international expansion - the brand opened 13 new stores in the year to bring its total store count to 43.
