Anya Hindmarch is opening on Madison Avenue. WWd reports the store "will have its own British craftsman working upstairs on the Anya Hindmarch Bespoke collection, and interiors that recall the creative sprawl of an artist’s studio." Hindmarch said "I love the idea of a working space — craft is what is most exciting to me, and for this store I wanted the sense of a working area." This is an interesting concept. Vince has opened a flagship store in Soho. WWD reports "the flagship is designed to reflect the more sophisticated and innovative design direction under Doo-Ri Chung, who has been the creative director since January." They also report "Granoff suggested that when stores adapt a contemporary decor, they can sometimes feel cold in character. But that’s not the case at Vince. “It’s a modern and clean design and at the same time it’s warm and comfortable,” she said. “In the past, our stores tended to be smaller, darker and have a more industrial feel." This flagship store represents the whole Vince collection. This is a great opportunity to check them out and see what they have to offer.
